Cake Day

Cake Quilt 2

I'm working on two cakes today. This first one is this layer cake quilt above. I'm calling it "Bundt Cake." It's made mostly from a layer cake pack of Moda Charisma 10" squares.

The other cake I'm working on today is a Sour Cream Almond Pound Cake (a real actual cake that can be eaten) for my Women of Worship's bake sale tomorrow. Each year, our town has an event called The Creek Bank Festival (held at the city park on The Little Cahaba River, or The Creek. Here local artists sell their wares. There is also entertainment, food, rides, and games. Our women's Bible study group is holding a bake sale and also a Bake Off Contest. Wish you could all be here.
