Have you seen these? I fell in love with them, and even joined a Pennie Pocket swap. This is my first attempt to make one and I'm not 100% pleased. I think I'll make some more.
Pennie Pockets are easy to make, and fast. Wouldn't they be cute as May Day baskets filled with goodies and hung on someone's door? Or Easter pockets to fill with candy eggs or jelly beans to give to friends? Or what about Christmas stocking alternatives, made from pretty holiday fabrics?
If you think you'd like to make some Pennie Pockets, go to Moda Bake Shop for the instructions.

Oh this is adorable...I will have to show my Mom...
I think we could make this a no-sew project with her Sealah Tape ;-)
Except we would need to sew the button... lol!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Have a blessed weekend.
Putting up a new post in the morning for our 25th wedding
Anniversary.
Hugs,
Kay

What a cute little item to hang on a doorknob. Wish I had someone to make it for. I think I'll get the pattern just in case ...
Susan, I think your fabric choices and the embellishments are just perfect!
Hugs!

Oh, my gosh, how sweet! I made some cushions for a little girl, and ended up with some extra fabric. I made two more pillows, but now I have enough, I think, to make one of these! Guess I know what my next sewing project will be, LOL!

You should be 110% pleased. This is totally cute and the stitching is perfect. I'm like you though, I can see exactly where my crafts aren't perfect, but to anyone else, they look great. Keep up the good work!

Hi Susan,
Those Pennie Pockets are so neat! Saved the instructions for them. Maybe someday, I will make some.
They would be perfect for May Day. I remember making little baskets for May Day....they don't do that much anynore now-a-days.
Have a great weekend.
Blessings,
~Tonya
