I took that block out that I didn't like. Maybe I'll take it apart and pair the pieces with different colors. Or maybe not.

I agree! These blocks look like friends! I've had to un-sew and re-sew and stabbed a finger with a pin. Ah, the little hassles.
I'm have a re-think about what to sew to what ... and may not put the blocks together as they should be. Would that be tooooo wild for a genteel Southern woman to do? I have 4 blocks sewn just to the point of no return and am mulling that over.
Alas, the kitchen calls. Phooey!
