It's as if my sewing room were never cleaned up. Just look.
But my quilt top is finished.
However, we've had unexpected company, so I'm going to have to postpone final show and tell and my giveaway drawing until tomorrow morning.
I'll leave the comments open until then, so if you haven't signed up for my giveaway, leave a comment on the previous comment below to enter.
Boy! Wasn't this a load of fun?

Susan ~ I've enjoyed catching up on all your blog posts - so very interesting! You did a lot of quilting and blogging! I finally have 5 blocks done, but I've been away more than I've been home for the retreat. I agree ~ it's been great fun! I'll post mine sometime later tonight.

Giggle! It's nice knowing I'm not the ONLY one who can create a craft area tornado in a matter of one day! But isn't that half the fun when we are so busy creating we just let everything FLY? Looking forward to seeing your finished quilt top! I know it will be beautiful! Enjoy your company!

Oh my gosh, I was just looking at your home page (I've already posted on your giveaway blog) and noticed the picture of 'Sophie Belle'. It gave me a start because laying at my feet right now is a schnauzer/poodle mix that could be her twin. We BOUGHT her from a lady when she was 15 months old to get her out of an extremely abusive home. When we brought her home she weighed only 11 lbs and was very very sick, malnurished and dehydrated. After an immediate trip to the vet, and coaxing her into the house, she had never been off a chain and had no shelter, she started romping and running and loving us. A week later she had gained 5 pounds and was still way too thin but getting better. She is now 5 yrs old and we also call her 'velcro' because when we sit down she velcros herself to our sides or laps. She and her sister Friskie (a purbred schnauzer) own our home, our bed and our hearts. Sadie now weighs in at 22 lbs and is not fat but just right and has been such a blessing to us. I can't believe how much they look alike. I know your busy but I just had to tell you about it.

What joy-joy creative clutter has overtaken your recently pristine sewing room. I cannot wait to see the quilt that came into being there in your talented hands!
Applause!!!

Sure has been a fun weekend watching how everyone put together orange to make quilts.
I'm tired from all the excitement of meeting new quilters and bloggers. Love your site
and sure could use some flannel to keep us warm in this cold weather. Thanks for
sharing your fabric.

Isn't it so much fun to make those messes in your sewing room? I worked on some siggy blocks today and had a ball. After I got through, I looked around and thought to myself, who made this mess? Then I realized it was me!

Hi Susan,
I love seeing your sewing room and boy my looks really bad. When I start different projects, I tear the room up. Maybe if it wasn't so crowded.
Can't wait to see your quilt.
Keep Stitchen'

Back again to ask if the white tree for your entry hall ever arrived? Remember that .... hummmm .... back before life with orange?!! Are you pleased with it?
Early last week I sent a little something that seems to be on the slow boat to Leeds so please keep on the lookout for it.
Hugs!
