Well, I've been away for a while, haven't I? I didn't realize it had been so long since I blogged.
See the painting at left? This was a Christmas present to Phillip and Carrie from Vann's future SIL, Susan H. She painted it. I just love it. I can see a whole room with this painting as the focal point. But, sadly, it won't be a room in my house.
Vann has been feeling mighty fine the past several days. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. They're working. His appetite has returned and he's getting out more. We went to church yesterday, then to lunch with Lori and Greg.
Today and tomorrow are chemo days, and we're hoping it doesn't take all his "feeling better" away.
We continue to having rainy, cloudy, mild weather here. It's so damp, I just saw a squirrel in the back yard squeezing the water of our his tail.
I have updated my Typepad account. I hope to redecorate soon with an original banner and everything. But not right now, 'cause Sophie is bugging the heck out of me to stop typing and come see what she wants. So, more later.....

That's a fine rooster painting. When I saw it at your house, I thought he was black. The blue is pretty, too. Hope Vann keeps on feeling better.
