Bee Meeting Today

IMG_2036 The monthly meeting of Piecemakers Quilting Bee was today at Gerry's house. We had a lot of fun eating and stitching and showing-
and-telling and laughing and talking. Here are a few of the show-and-tells. All the pics were taken by Cyndi, some of them before Mary and I got there. We got lost (well, not really lost, we just couldn't find Gerry's apartment). So we had to call and get directions.

Hoping everyone had a great Labor Day; and if you're in the path of a storm, may God keep you safe and dry.

Just lovely! I especially love the kitties and the leaves!

Did you guys get any rain from the storm?? We are due to get a bucketload or two(up to 20 inches over Tues and Wed). The winds are picking up and clouds are rolling by very fast. Some of Mark's kin came up from south Texas to stay with his parents. We are hoping they've moved to a shelter, his mom doesn't need that. Anyway...

I'm off to find something to occupy me, the football game is NOT doing it for me.LOL I may dig out my ripple afghan. Or bake some brownies...

I particularly love seeing applique quilts. The kitties are real cuties. It sounded like such a wonderful time of sharing.

I have seen that cat quilt somewhere before, must have been on somebody's blog - its so cute, one of my favorites. The catapillar and butterfly is just adorable and I know my granddaughter would love it. The leaf one would look excellent hanging on my office wall. Would you like me to send you my address so you can get them all in the mail to me?

Oh, those quilts are WONDERFUL! Each is unique and sooooo pretty! I need to live near YOU so you could teach me to quilt! (Are you EVER lucky I DON'T 'cause I'm definitely terrible at sewing. LOL!)
