Lookee! The little pink quiltlet is almost finished. All I have to do is attach the little yo yo flowers and sew a label on the back, and I'll be all done and ready to ship to my swap partner in Sweden.
Thanks to all of you who gave me ideas for de-emphasizing the black vase square. I found some pink rick-rack that seems to have helped, and I bound it in the same black as the vase. Another suggestion was to use little black buttons in the centers of some of the yo yo flowers. I haven't tried that yet but I'm going to. I think that will look great. I'll show you when it's done.
I've also made a few crocheted heart pillowy things. They aren't finished. I'm going to embellish them with flowers and ribbons for knob hangers. I'll show them again when they're finished. They're really easy to crochet and stuff.
Tomorrow, in addition to putting the yo yos on the pink quiltlet, I hope to start the binding on the blue wedding quilt and Andy's green quilt. Oh wow! Progress feels so good, doesn't it?

Pink and black always looks so wonderful together. I can't wait to see it with the yo-yo flowers.

Hi Susan!
I had to come over to see you and say "hello" after reading your responses to Beverely's "Bucket List" question!
I have just recently come back from a trip to Irland, and I live in NYC (the borough of Brooklyn) If you visit my blog and look in my right sidebar under thre catagories you'll see I've written a lot of posts about Ireland and NYC!
If you go today you'll see I love a certain singer/songwriter from Alabama too :-)
Your quilts are so lovely! Unfortunately, I have no talent sewing at all.
