Farewell, Tasha

Tasha43 I just learned that Tasha Tudor died on Wednesday, and I'm very sad. She was 92. I believe that she was just as gentle as her art. We've lost a wonderful talent and a dear woman. I wonder who will care for her animals.

She truly seemed to have a kind and loving spirit. The world was a better place for having her.

That is sad. At least she left us with some beautiful artwork. It will always be there for us.

Oh, I am grieving the loss of Tasha Tudor with you, Susan!I have lots of her old & newer books; the photography is wonderful.I'm sure her children and grandkids will tend the animals.I was surprised she didn't live on beyond 100 for some reason! She was one of a kind and a wonderful "maverick" artist!

I didn't know until I read your blog. I have loved all the wonderful pictures and stories of her life. When my daughter got our first dog, we named her Tasha.. Try as I might I never came close to "copying" her lovely style. I am truly sad. Caro
