This is Card #20, entitled
"Butterfly 8." Can anyone guess what movie starring Elizabeth Taylor I'm alluding to with the title?
It has been raining here since about 6:00 this morning-- steady, hard rain. It is now 2:25 p.m. Sophie didn't pee or anything until just about 30 minutes ago when she finally had to give it up and go out in the downpour. She was not happy. So far, we've had about 2 inches of rain, I think.
I guess it's the weather, but I have had a headache since last evening. Didn't get much sleep last night, so I'm crabby today. Good thing nobody except Sophie has to put up with me. Vann's still in Texas.
What else? I've been trying to get the laundry done all day, but my dryer is on the fritz. It heats up and turns and blows and everything, but each load of clothes takes about 72 hours to dry (or something like that). I know I have to buy a new dryer. But that's like buying tires or getting the septic tank pumped out. Lots of money and not much fun.
I'm either going to work on Falicia's wedding quilt (which is almost done) or take a nap.

Hi Susan. I get it! The movie, "Butterfield 8".
I don't think I ever saw it, but I've heard of it. All that rain and a dryer that won't dry? Sounds like a bummer. Glad you got your essential oil, anyway. Fix up a spray and spritz it around. Might lift your spirits.

It has been rainy here for weeks! I hate it.
My drive has been flooded and my backyard. I hate walking the dogs in the rain as much as they hate walking in it.
I have gotten a lot done inside the house though.

Is the movie Butterfield 8 -- I cheated and looked it up as I really was curious!
And as for Sophie -- we had a peek-a-poo named Sam and he would refuse and "hold it" for hours also in rainy weather and snowy - frigid weather. Who can really blame them. :o)
Thought I was the only one having a bad time of it -- this weather can really wear a persons sunny side down after awhile! Hang in there as the sun is coming-- okay that is what the weather guy said and if Illinois may see some sun I am sure Blackberry Creek will Too!!!!!
