Well, you gotta admit, it's a start. Yesterday I spent several hours putting pieces of fabric in stacks and bags and containers. But from the looks of the next photo, there's still a lot to do before my sewing room will be entirely recovered from the storm that hit it.
If you see anything you like, it might could be yours, along with stuff that didn't make it into the photos. Read on.....

Tomorrow, November 30, is the one-year anniversary of my first post. In honor of this occasion, I'm going to fill an 11.75" x 8" x 4.75" box full of some of the fabric pieces in my sewing room and send it to the winner of my anniversary drawing.
If you'd like to be included in the drawing, just leave a comment on this post. I'll hold the drawing on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, so comment soon.

When I saw your sewing room it remembered me that I needed to do something similar with mine. But I think I'll use the Flylady method: 15 minutes every day...take it easy...

I don't really need fabric but you are inspiring me to work on my stash. I have so much fabric and it is totally out of control so doesn't get used as much as it should be. Also, working in a quilt shop doesn't help - too many temptations.

Sorry about the carpet thing. We did that one year before the holidays and I am still looking for some of my treasures that got packed up for storage. New items filled their old familiar spaces. My stuff expands to fill all voids.
