I Think I Can, I Think I Can....

Jesus_starI was totally on my feet for about five straight hours yesterday, getting the Baby Jesus and manger added to the Greatest Gift banner. Take that, Fibromonster! It wasn't easy, but I did it.

This one is complete except for borders and machine quilting. I'm about to start the second one, "The Annoucement." It's about angels and shepherds and has no strip-pieced star rays, so I think it might be faster. But it does have lots of black bias strips, and that takes a lot of time at the ironing board, standing up 'cause I can't iron sitting down.

Nine days, counting today, till the banners are supposed to be hung. I don't know, but I think I can.

Jesus

Absolutely fabulous! I can't imagine trying to do these so quickly, but if anyone can you can. What an incredible gift for your church. I can't remember - did you design these yourself? Either way, you are very talented.

The banner is just wonderful -- bravo!!! I can just imagine it at the front of the church on Christmas morning. Great fabric choice for the manger.

My son is already having a trauma about "24" - LOL. Oh what will we watch now??
