Look what I found at the second-hand store yesterday (photo at right), with the original price tag still attached. It caught my eye because of the color scheme (orange, pink, and green), the same one I used in my weekend retreat quilt. Had to have it! Just had to.
I received my prize from Bonnie at Calamity Jane's Cottage (see photos below). In addition to that wonderful apron, she sent a cute dish towel that looks darling hanging over Gertrude's oven door. Also a fat quarter pack of amazing fabrics and a new copy of Romantic Homes magazine. Thank you so much, Bonnie. I just love everything.
The last photo is a cardinal ornament that I received from Blogless Barbara for my Cardinal Totem Tree. Thank you so much, Barbara. I love it.

So glad the Scrabble tile cardinals arrived and your pleased. Hope the little glass crystal will bounce some light and perhaps rainbows around your entry hall.
I went to the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show in Hampton, VA yesterday and there was an amazing amount of orange used in quilts there. Was I just tuned in to orange?
